SAX DO THE 2017 NCL LEAGUE AND CUP DOUBLE!
After a run of 11 straight wins, Saxlingham won the NCL Division one by 7 points over Sandringham. A great effort by all the players, and thanks to all the regular supporters who helped us along the way! Earlier in the season, Sax made it two trophies in a week, as we beat Felthorpe and Castle Rising on the NCL T20 Finals day, having progressed through two group stages! Great effort from all, and thanks to all the supporters who came out.
2017 Cricket Festival
At our 2017 festival we raised £375 for MIND, and £375 for Kids with Cancer. 65 Players in total played, with an estimated 200+ in attendance at various points of the day. Well done to Neavo for organising another great day.
Club Socials
In 2017 Sax ran two club trips - Firstly to Manchester for the England v South Africa test, and Secondly a post-season party at T20 Finals day at Edgbaston. Plenty more to come in 2018!
Saturday Team
Our Saturday Team currently plays in the Norfolk Cricket League Division 1, having won the NCL double in 2017. If you wish to play for us in 2018, please contact Alex Browne
Sunday Team
Our Sunday XI is a more relaxed affair, playing in the Mid Norfolk Sunday League Division 2. In 2017 we finished fourth, with several youth players making their debut in adult cricket. If interested, in joining please contact Tom Lardner
Midweek Team
We entered two T20 tournaments in 2017 - The NCL T20 Cup and the Wensum Cup. Sax won 10 from 10 to seal both trophies. If interested in playing for us next season, please contact Tom Lardner
Indoor Team
We participate in the South Norfolk Indoor League between January and March - the 2018 competition has now finished and we will re-enter again in 2019
